Anthony's career vision is to lead impactful mobility and placemaking projects that foster healthier, more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous communities. Currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Planning & Analysis for the GO Bus Service Planning Team at Metrolinx, he leads his team to develop business cases and conduct tactical analysis to support transit service and infrastructure projects in the Greater Toronto Region.An expert in leveraging geospatial data, analysis, and visualization tools, Anthony produces compelling, evidence-based planning recommendations for senior leaders and decision-makers. He holds a graduate degree in Planning from TMU and an undergraduate degree in Geography from UBC. With 15 years of experience, he has spearheaded public health, urban design, and transportation projects in both Toronto and Vancouver.Key highlights of Anthony's professional journey:• Led statistical analysis and data visualization for a population health research lab at UBC, under the direction of Dr. Clyde Hertzman, recipient of the 2012 CIHR Health Researcher of the Year award. • Seeking to broaden his urban planning expertise, Anthony joined a consulting firm in Vancouver specializing in land use planning, urban design, environmental consulting, and public engagement. • His graduate thesis at TMU examined "Linking Healthy Community Design Indicators (CDIs) to Population Health and Well-Being Outcomes in Vancouver Neighborhoods." • Anthony later contributed to cycling and active transportation consulting projects at WSP. • Over the past 7.5 years at Metrolinx, he has held progressively senior roles, leading cross-functional projects that advance the GO Rail and Bus network and the expansion of the regional rapid transit network, including subways, light rail transit, and bus rapid transit.
