I also coordinate and manage scheduling, travel arrangements, expense processing, licensing agreements, and more for the station’s anchors, reporters, and news editorial staff.My contributions have included:• Proactively identifying, resolving, prioritizing, or escalating issues — based on each situation — and liaising between the executive TV news director and various organizations to ensure seamless workflow and transparent, efficient communications.• Collaborating with the TV News Director on projects that have included election coverage; an annual meteorological seminar attended by members of NASA and the National Weather Service; back-to-school kickoffs like ‘Stuff the Bus’; and the Southeast Emmy’s award presentation.
