As a business we support products with engineering teams as well as full product teams whose mission is to support our customers in the best possible way, meaning that we either come with our own processes to shorten the burden on them or we can adapt to their processes.Joining the team I proposed and implemented a way of bringing together all the frontend engineers under the umbrella of Frontend Meetups where we approached topics either from our projects (of course with the necessary approval, no contracts were breached or any liabilities during the meetups, not that anyone would admit to anything), frontend concepts and techniques, 3rd party open source solutions, etc.Also involved in helping teams with architectural guidance, hosting workshops on angular topics and other guidance towards the team as a mentor and people manager for more junior engineers. Having the flexibility to be involved in both IC (Individual Contributor) in the projects assigned to me and PM (people management) tracks provided me with a lot of opportunities to use my knowledge and also grow.On the recruitment side I was also involved as a Staff Engineer later on in the process for evaluating, interviewing and validating new candidates as well as preparing learning materials and paths for young talent joining the team.

Force24 is a UK based product company focusing on marketing automation and helping other businesses make sure they reach the proper audience the best way possible. Joining the Force24 team on behalf of Equilobe, I made an assessment of the current legacy frontend systems and created a roadmap for bringing them into more modern architecture. This also included adding some new practices to the current way of working for our frontend track. This concluded with a series of presentations and discussions around the topics. Sprint by sprint we moved forward trying to reduce the technical debt as much as possible while not disrupting the current feature development process.Organized Frontend Team Meetings since we had developers working in multiple teams and on different projects in order to keep communication at a peak, be consistent and aware of reusable solutions, identify issues and support each other. As an engineer, I was responsible for starting from scratch an analytics module that gets deployed to 3rd party websites in order to enhance them with features from the automation platform. A new architecture was created there from scratch which concluded in a mini framework being designed for this purpose that is flexible, resilient and as small as possible to be easily deployable to any websites. Worked on multiple features, bug fixing, feature investigation, support for the development team as well as customer support team.

Our purpose is to empower people to stay a step ahead in life and in business.Maggie was a programme designed to bridge the gap and provide a standardised customer experience that was supposed to launch in 4 countries.As part of the squad in charge of PSD2 process our responsibility was to deliver the full experience (frontend & backend) as a micro-frontend with web components while also being involved in global libraries and contributing to the ING ecosystem. Working in a agile framework derived from Spotify's model we were responsible for understanding requirements, refining them, discussing with design, architecture and other squads in order to deliver, deploy and maintain our solution.

CEX (https://cex-solutions.com/) is a solution that comes to aid Pharma businesses challenges and processes through software.As a core team member of CEX building and scaling the web application using AngularJS and Angular has provided me with multiple challenges that pushed my knowledge and skills as well as taught me the importance and pitfalls of building enterprise grade software. The journey has taken me through building spa applications using AngularJS at a time when it was just starting to ramp up its user base and it has no style guides or clear best practices to transitioning from a legacy framework such as AngularJS to a more robust framework like Angular.My role in the team was to build our web client and keep it up to date with latest business requirements as well as continuously improving performance and codebase. On a day to day i had to:- analyze business requirements and coming up with solutions that scale and adjust depending on environment changes- keep up to date with latest best practices, style guides, packages as well as contributing to open source packages - update codebase with latest angularjs best practices

My journey at Binovate was my first as a web developer and while having already tinkered with the concepts I didn’t have a deeper knowledge of any of them.The first two years I’ve worked on several small projects such as a wordpress template done from scratch, adding new features to some already build websites, working on a few platforms but not having any true ownership of a project. The technologies I’ve had a chance to experiment with were diverse and ranged from PHP (Twig - a cleaner version of symphony and a rendering engine) to .NET (building interfaces while using MVC patterns and Razor language), AngularJS, Less, front-end and back-end alike.Since April 2015 I am working on our own solution for the pharmaceutical industry, a software that aims to help businesses manage, plan, perform and review their activities, sales and quality. Leading the front-end development for CEX has been a unique experience with challenges that made me push myself, how I understand AngularJS and Users, made me think more as a product owner but not less as a developer. The most challenging encounters have been:- designing the architecture for the project and making adjustments to improve it;- making services and components that are stateless and are used all across the application changing what they show depending on the current view;- making adjustable builds depending on client requirements to enable / disable features and manage change requests in a single codebase;
