I am pursuing my Master of Public Health in occupational health and industrial hygiene. To supplement my education, I have taken the role of Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where I am researching the effects of welding exposure on workers' health, under the supervision of Dr. Victoria Arrandale. After graduating this December I will be continuing as a Research Assistant at Ontario Health, Occupational Cancer Research CentreI have a strong background in medical sciences, having graduated with distinction from Western University with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree, specializing in physiology and pharmacology. I also have extensive experience in project implementation and technical support, having worked as a Project Implementation Agent at YM Inc. for over four years. I have managed and accelerated the execution of six Canada-wide projects involving network infrastructure, software enhancement, and installation of administration equipment. I have also provided tier 2 troubleshooting and help desk support to over 400 stores worldwide. I am passionate about advancing public health research and practice and improving the occupational and environmental health of workers and communities. I have developed core competencies in data analysis, literature review, project management, communication, and guest experience, which I apply to my current and future roles. I am eager to learn from and collaborate with experts and peers in the field, and to contribute to the generation and dissemination of evidence-based knowledge and interventions.
