Mathematical modeller with more than 20 years of experience in environmental assessments. I believe that models together with experimental data provide a solid base for such assessments. However, model predictions - even when they are based on consensus - are laced with uncertainties. My personal drive is to make policy makers aware of these uncertainties so that they can make informed decisions on environmental issues.
