I have been representing clients in legal matters throughout the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia since 1999. In my current position at Stark and Keenan, I am responsible for the management of my individual caseload which includes, drafting complaints, motions, appellate briefs, and discovery requests and responses; preparing for trial; and litigating cases of family law, misdemeanor criminal, and administrative law. I serve as a mediator in order to assist opposing parties to reach a mutually agreeable settlement of their legal case. In my role as attorney/advisor, I provide oral and written legal advice concerning extremely complex and difficult legal matters to clients and other legal counsel. Finally, I appear regularly as an attorney before arbitrators, mediators, investigators, administrative judges, judges, magistrates, masters, and appellate courts throughout the State of Maryland.

While an associate attorney at Bulman Dunie, I independently managed my caseload. I prepared all necessary documents including drafting complaints, motions, appellate briefs, and discovery requests and responses. I was responsible for preparing for trial and litigating cases of civil, misdemeanor criminal, and administrative law. I appeared as an attorney before arbitrators, mediators, investigators, administrative judges, judges, magistrates, masters, and appellate courts throughout the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. I was also appointed by the Circuit Court for Montgomery County Maryland to provide legal counsel and assistance to Minors as a Guardian Ad Litem in complex custody litigation. In 2007, I was trained as a civil mediator and a collaborative law participant in order to assist others with positive dispute resolution.

While at the Law offices of Marion E. Baurley, I researched and drafted complaints, motions, appellate briefs, and discovery requests and responses. I completed extensive trial preparation in the areas of domestic relations, including child neglect, Termination of Parental Rights, adoption, custody, and divorce and criminal law and litigated adoption and child neglect issues.
