I am a recent graduate from UCLA with a passion for conservation, restoration, sustainability, and wildlife research. During my time at UCLA I worked for the Yeh laboratory where I performed vegetation surveys and bird banding to discover how urbanization and disease are linked in dark-eyed junco populations in Southern California. There, I discovered my joy for outdoor work and working with wildlife. I also got to nurture my love for nature and my lifelong commitment to learning. In my spare time, I impacted my community through my position as External Vice President for a sustainability and accessibility organization, Good Clothes Good People. I encountered individuals from all walks of life every day I dedicated time to GCGP, which has changed my world view and shaped my open-mindedness toward approaching differences between myself and others. Given my skill set and interests, I am seeking work in restoration, natural resources, conservation, urban sustainability, sustainable agriculture, or related positions.
