• Responsible for meeting the board of directors’ strategic intent to advance the region’s economic vitality by developing a business-responsive workforce that promotes prosperity. Leader of sector strategies initiatives in advanced manufacturing, technology, and healthcare. • Management and oversight of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act funding for adult, dislocated worker, and youth programs, including solicitation of RFPs; development and negotiation of custom contracts; program design, development, implementation; budget development/management, and programmatic outcomes.• Administrator for the region’s data information system; data analysis; dashboard design, development, maintenance, and reporting to board members and other stakeholders. • Local area compliance officer: policy, program standards, and procedures development, implementation, monitoring, and oversight for program and service delivery systems. • Dislocated Worker Liaison: Served as the local area contact to Oregon’s Higher Education and Coordinating Commission; led the local Rapid Response team; identified, designed, developed, and managed grants, and trained staff for Additional Assistance, Gap Fills, and Layoff Aversion. • Special initiatives and projects: Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing pilot projects that are business-driven and focus on performance management, talent development, and strategic capacity building.
