During my time at Rooster Teeth Animation I worked primarily on their flagship show, Red vs Blue. My responsibilities included:- Directing episodes of the studio’s founding show - Overseeing creative from the writing stage to final delivery. Directing voice actors, animators, vizpost, and audio teams to deliver cuts on-time, under budget, that are widely well-received by the audience.- Capturing gameplay for our narrative machinima series and for marketing material.- Assembling and managing editorial on episodes from start-to-finish in Adobe Premiere.- Developing a new animation pipeline for the studio, using Unreal Engine to both animate and render sequences.- Writing episodes of the show’s off-season mini-series to go into production.- Frequently collaborating with other studios and partners on projects, including Epic Games, Paramount+ and Nvidia- Building sets for fully animated segments, using Unreal Engine.- Ingesting animation data from Maya, Blender, and Adobe Animate into Unreal Engine for final render.- Lighting and Visual Post-production on fight sequences in Unreal with a variety of different art styles, both 2D and 3D.

Wrote and directed gaming-based shorts, aimed at growing Watch Mojo’s gaming channel. Pitched the teams ideas to the client and addressed their feedback quickly. Because each short was produced using a different game engine, calling for creative solutions to unique problems.

Edited ‘Let’s Play’ gaming videos for a YouTube brand with over 10M subscribers with short turnaround times, and a high attention to detail. Incorporated editorial notes from the SEO team to maximize viewer retention.
