My parents have raised me to be a caring and compassionate person. I have grown up using these skills in the food industry as well as helping my community. My job experience has been working at two different restaurants where I was responsible for many different duties. I learned to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast paced food service environment and demonstrated leadership by taking charge of different stations upon request. I loved working in this industry because I got to work as a team and built great communication skills. Food industry is a like a well-oiled machine, all parts of the restaurant have to be working efficiently to maintain balance. My main goal in life is to find a job where I truly feel like I am helping people or benefiting the world in some way. I feel very strongly about my community and helping others. I grew up volunteering at the homeless shelter serving food and throughout high school I volunteer coached Special Olympics basketball and soccer. I gained great patience, mentoring, and leadership skills through volunteering.
