Hello, my name is Austin Johnson from Team Johnson Racing, I am an up and coming pro race car driver. I am 9 years old from North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. I race go karts on dirt. I come from a racing family. My dad, Matt Johnson, raced all kinds of race cars! My great grandfather too! I have been around racing all my life and I love going fast!Next year I am going to race my go kart at a lot of tracks. My goal is to race a Late Model Stock Car when I turn 12. Then I want to be racing at the top - the Sprint Cup Series in NASCAR!I learned that it's good to be humble and understand in racing that you need to be ok if you lose but I LOVE to win! Other things I like to do besides driving anything and everything, is farming, playing in the mud and building things with my hands!You might guess that since I am from Wilkes County, I have met Junior Johnson and while he was giving autographs; I got one but, wanted to give him mine instead.I hope someday I can make everyone from Wilkes County proud of another racer named Johnson!
