For over two decades I have pursued a career in the field of vertebrate paleontology. My primary research interests lie in the macroevolution and paleoecology of Mesozoic/Cenozoic saurians of North America, particularly Neosuchia. I aim to explore the diversity, biogeography, and ecology of this group within the context of major global events and regional environmental changes, all the while furthering understanding of the origins of modern crocodylians.I have been incredibly fortunate to have had opportunities to work with many amazing people at various institutions. Through my experiences thus far, I have gained a strong understanding of paleontological and ecological principles/practices, developing a broad set of skills encompassing laboratory preparation, collections management, fieldwork, data analysis, resource management, and education/outreach.
