As a Creative Executive at Treehouse Films, Austin worked closely with Kevin Costner on various films, such as Black Or White, which he Associate Produced, and Horizon, Costner’s upcoming two part epic western, and literary works such as the New York Times Bestseller, The Explorers Guild - a high-adventure novel from Simon and Schuster.He has written viral videos that were produced by Disney and has worked on numerous other projects including Hatfields & McCoys, Draft Day, and Man of Steel. He has traveled the world, from Brazil to Paris to Moscow, filming the tours of Kevin’s band Modern West for a documentary that aired on CMT.Speaking of writing, his short stories have been published in The Los Angeles Review, Mystery Tribune, Esoterica Magazine, and Every Day Fiction, to name a few. Austin is also a celebrated graphic artist, designing works for Netflix, the American Cinematheque, Kevin Costner, the WWE, Focus Features, MLB, and the Portland Trail Blazers. He is currently the Art Director at Venn49, a creative boutique in downtown Kansas City. Austin is a graduate of Kansas University’s School of Visual Arts, with an emphasis on Graphic Design and Illustration.
