I am a deeply dependable and dedicated person with a positive, hardworking attitude. Sports have heavily influenced my life, so I am always willing to help a teammate and, above all, respectful to everyone I work with. My team role has varied based on the needs of our group during my senior design projects from an independent problem solver supporting the work of my teammates to the lead mechanical designer responsible for CAD and technical drawings of all parts and assemblies. I have received recognition for excellence as a tutor, team-mate, and engineering student by my employers, cross-country team, and professors, respectively.During my internship with K-State’s Pollution Prevention Institute, I was exposed to a variety of industries including animal vaccine, metal manufacturing, Carbon Black manufacturing, and diary food processing. During my internship with US Engineering, I worked closely with their engineers by assisting in take offs, BOMs, and competitive bids to learn the mechanical contracting industry and the process in completing a project. Over the course of my internships, I have grown to be an efficient self-learner, excellent communicator in the professional world, and receptive of constructive feedback to better myself and team.
