I am a graduate of Brigham Young University, with a BA degree in German Teaching, and master's degrees in instructional design and educational leadership from Western Governor’s University. I'm an experienced instructional designer/learning experience developer and I have worked for organizations such as Middlebury Interactive Languages, Lincoln Learning Solutions, K12, Edgenuity, and Brigham Young University. I am an experienced online course writer and am familiar with a variety of software tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, Audacity, InDesign, Storyline, and Photoshop.I have teaching experience in both traditional and online classrooms, with seven years of full-time experience in public schools. In addition, I have published over 40 books, and have written for various periodicals, such as Ensign, Liahona, The New Era, and Nugent Magazine.I am proficient in technology such as Microsoft Office and Adobe applications, computer programming, and web design. I am also proficient in building online courses and with online learning management systems such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Buzz and Brainhoney. I am comfortable creating many types of media, including photos, slide presentations, screencasts, and video presentations.
