Founder/CEO of FLONation Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit organization based out of Hayward, California. Drafted and signed by the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball in the first round in 1980 and the 11th player picked in the nation. Promoted to the major leagues and was a part of the 1983 World Series Champion Orioles, beating the Phillies. The foundation is centered around childhood and adult obesity, a major epidemic in our country and I'm very passionate about fitness, health, wellness and nutrition, while aworking with individuals to assist in motivating and educating. In April, 2010 I reached out and wrote a letter to the “First Lady” Michelle Obama to offer assistance with her “Let’s Move” campaign, in getting kids moving towards a healthier lifestyle and to mention to her the work I'm doing in Sacramento, California. Her response was very positive and supportive. Truly committed in making a difference in touching the lives of those who suffer every day and need help to combat this obesity epidemic. Help us help you and your community and together we can make the world a healthier place to live.
