Our team's mission in Chicago this past summer was enriched by my participation as a Cru Inner City Intern, where I leveraged my interpersonal communication skills and cultural adaptation abilities. Currently, I am advancing through a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Central Michigan University on the Pre-Dental track, a path that continues to shape my compassionate approach and global perspective. I am Minoring in Military Science in hopes of continuing to serve this country and help people with dental care. Summer Mission taught me a lot in regard to a lot of people cannot afford dental care or have dental insurance. In my opinion, teeth are fundamental to speaking, eating, and doing basic human functions. At the heart of my academic and professional journey lies a commitment to understanding and addressing diverse cultural dynamics within community service frameworks. I strive to complete dental school while still being apart of the Army, to not only help other fellow soldiers, but once I complete my contract, I can open my own business and help others in need.
