As Director, Marketing and Communications at Inertia Product Development, I was responsible for the delivery of all marketing strategy, campaigns, communication and materials. I led teams of internal experts and external suppliers (designers, web developers, online advertisers, printers and others) to deliver a communications strategy that represents the strong technical capabilities of the company’sindustrial, mechanical and electronics engineers and manufacturing services.

As VP Digital, my role was to assess, plan and implement digital media strategies and solutions for existing and potential clients. The goal is to maximize their brand and marketing budget, and to integrate digital efforts into their overall plan. I managed a multi-faceted team of web developers, social media and online ad specialists, supported by a talented team of designers, account execs, copywriters and project managers.I've delivered presentations at a global Retail Real Estate Convention (ICSC ReCon in Las Vegas), at business summits, corporate retreats and Chamber of Commerce events.I've developed and led numerous, tailored social and digital training sessions for groups of clients from national retail and real estate development companies including Morguard, Cadillac Fairview, Primaris Reit and First Capital Realty.My day to day work involved planning, budgeting, developing proposals, negotiating, delivering presentations, analyzing data, overseeing social media, online advertising and web development, problem solving, reinventing and continuously learning.
