Assists in conducting analysis and research in support of the Denver regional area, responds to routine questions within the Denver regional area, and assists in the maintenance of automated databases.

Temporary position for summer. Helped to run the Casa de Paz house as a Host to supervise interns and volunteers. Waited outside ICE detention center for immigrants to be released and leads people to our house. Aided immigrants in contacting their families, purchasing tickets, and transportation to the airport.

Worked in the intake center, specifically with processing. Spoke in Spanish with between 10 and 150 clients each day with questions about personal information, immigration status, and when they arrived in the US. All the information is put in the Nintex system.

Met with 3 congressional offices to lobby for support for bills that combat world poverty, fundraised over $500 from my personal network, mobilized individuals to contact their Congresspeople, updated job postings and lead recruitment sessions, digitally broadcast via social media, and developed strategies for web-based messaging.

Aided in preliminary research for an ecological paper on heatwaves. Coded articles for literature review.

Helped to train future volunteers going to go to Latin America to perform service projects. Interacted with other supervisors to facilitate training activities.
