I've been writing, editing, and producing audio and video for our small online professional education company since we bought it in 2012. Finally, we got big enough to employ me full time! As before, I write and edit courses, edit PursuitMag and other pubs, produce our podcasts and YouTube videos, and perform sundry creative and wordsmithy tasks for Storyboard EMP, which includes PI Education, Pursuit Magazine, Appraisal Buzz, Appraiser eLearning, and Agent eLearning.

I write and edit multimedia courses for PI Education, Agent eLearning, and Appraiser eLearning, as part of StoryboardEMP (Educational Media Partners). Includes creating courses from the ground up — researching and writing, producing and editing podcasts and videos — and also editing contributor's courses. Have written courses on deception detection, communication, and investigative ethics, and am currently working on criminal justice history and criminal defense.

I've produced features for various public radio outlets, including Nashville Public Radio, NPR's Only a Game, Marketplace, and NPR's Weekend Edition. I enjoy exploring a wide range of topics, from sports and music to social issues & nonprofits, small business, and aviation.I've written short and long features and personal essays for both local and national publications, including Fast Company, the New York Times, and United Airlines Hemispheres magazines.In 2007, I finished co-translating and editing a memoir by a Russian combat airwoman of WWII, called "Red Sky, Black Death: A Soviet Woman Pilot's Memoir of the Eastern Front." Slavica Publishers released the book in March of 2009, and since then I've spoken about the story at the Nashville chapter of the National Women's Book Association, several Women in Aviation International conferences, Emory University, and the United States Air Force Academy. Smithsonian Air & Space printed an excerpt of the book, and reviews appeared in "Russian Life" and "Aviation History" magazines in 2009.Currently, I'm managing editor of Pursuit Magazine, a journal for professional investigators, and I'm working on a ghostwriting project.

I write a monthly column called "HER Heart" about local women making their corner of the world a little bit better.

CFI, CFII, MEI - Provided ground and flight instruction for private and commercial pilot certificates, instrument and multi-engine ratings, and flight instructor certificates. Specialized in preparing flight instructor candidates for the arduous CFI checkride. Logged more than 2,000 hours as flight instructor. Owned two Cessna 172s, in which I gave flight instruction.I also taught an evening ground school course for adults for several semesters at Nashville State Community College.
