Early on, as a scientist with Coulter Immunology (now Beckman Coulter), I helped create one of the first HIV assays. Later, as a member of the Immunicon Corporation leadership, successfully pioneered the world’s first FDA approved Circulating Tumor Cell assay (Cell Search for CTC), marketed by Johnson & Johnson. Also have extensive experience in Technology Transfer. Covered Diagnostics, Early Drug Development, Imaging, Antibodies and Clinical Trials. Fundamental to my corporate & commercial accomplishments has been my out-licensing and in-licensing experience in over 100 intellectual property (patent) transactions and the development of worldwide strategic alliances. Lead roles in 6 Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and experience in Initial Public Offerings (IPO). Serial Entrepreneur. Most recently founded a manufacturing IVD company in Malaysia.
