Security Architect for R&D group delivering SaaS platform on AWS. Working across a development group of ~30 developers, reporting to R&D Group Manager- Building a secure SDLC process & strategy across the group development teams, writing policies, processes & procedures, and enforcing them on group activities on an agile methodology.- Ongoing risk management and severity assessment for incoming findings and vulnerabilities. Feeding security requirements for features and working with development teams to prioritize them as part of the secure SDLC.- Leading application security, threat modeling, and hardening efforts across group activities & technologies, such as operating systems, containers, and serverless infrastructure- Leading compliance efforts for security standards & best practices, such as SOC2, CSA CAIQ, and FedRAMP Working with IT and company stakeholders to lead PoC & procurement efforts for required 3rd party security software- Organize and present security educational activities to the group members, while acting as a trusted advisor to other R&D teams and R&D central security team
