I enjoy honing my academic skills by being a keen learner and fostering my curiosity to explore the IT turf. I have the drive and balance to aim for, but not be limited to, a prospective career in this field. I also hope to collaborate, engage, brainstorm and contribute in my own unique way to projects that align with my professional values. I am from the sciences background, which is when I acknowledged my love for computer science and how its complements and supports other interests of mine. I found it incredible to realize that this field is the safe haven for all those who have creativity germinating for and from problem-solving acumen. The ability to reverse engineer and breakdown a situation or problem to tackle or to build the optimal steps to the ladder of achieving a functionality or task is the core of this line of work. It is what motivates me to work with challenges, be it code or real-world scenarios. It’s a fascinating kaleidoscope of technology, design, innovation and society, which I am grateful to be a part of. I strive to integrate and create from its knowledge and liberty as I venture more into it and expand my horizons. I have learnt the holistic application and study of data visualization, UI/UX design, the user-centred design and development process, infographics, usability testing and so on. In the technical dimension I have worked on custom projects in many programming languages (C#, Python, JavaScript, Ruby to name a few) and frameworks (turtle, d3, bootstrap). I have also undertaken artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, web apps, android apps and cloud computing in an introductory capacity. I hope to work on more indie projects (game dev in Unity, dashboard scheduling design for web and mobile, pen testing and so on). I take great pleasure in playing the piano and guitar. I have learnt and now have fun playing sports including tennis, table-tennis and basketball. I spend time improving my graphic designing techniques and painting. Not to mention, I find crocheting a delightful way to unwind.
