Together with peers founded a student group aiming to design, build a test a turbo-jet within two years. Currently in the process of launching the society and recruiting our first members.As technical director my responsibilities include; creating work packages and detailing technical requirements, reviewing critical work done my members, and helping members tackle challenging engineering problems.In my spare time, I have also been involved in carrying out analysis to size the turbo-jet and the initial steps of designing a centrifugal compressor.

Worked as a research assistant through the undergraduate research opportunities programme (UROP).Under the supervision of prof. Palacios I developed a graph neural network to predict the dynamics of a slender wing under a gust load in a variety of flight conditions. The process of finding the best approach provided key insights into how this may be implemented in the future to reduce the simulation time. This is highly beneficial for in the loop hardware applications or for model predictive control.

Main responsibilities included managing the manufacture sub-team and planning the manufacture process for the airframe of the teams most ambitious rocket yet. Also played a role in recruitment for the airframe and recovery team.

Member of the airframe and recovery team developing new techniques to manufacture composite components for our rocket - this included curating procedures to make carbon fibre panels, body tubes, a fin can, and a nose cone. The manufacture team successfully implemented the manufacture plan to build all components and test the recovery system in time for the EuRoC competition. This in part helped the team be awarded 2nd place for the technical report.

Member of a student project to develop a liquid rocket engine with a gas generator cycle. Briefly worked on a variety of problems such as pressure vessel calculations for a fuel tank, and sizing of fuel pipes.
