I am a young professional with 2+ years of clinical experience. In 2019, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Arizona State University. I have been a medical scribe with OrthoArizona for 2+ years now, working directly with a podiatric surgeon and his team. During his clinic, I accompanied him in every patient visit and was in charge of creating an accurate documentation of the visit in Athena EMR. I also facilitated most communication between my provider and other members of the team, sent prescriptions, scheduled further imaging/testing, and assisted with clerical clinic duties. As of this last October, I have successfully passed the NRCMA examination with flying colors. This makes me Bailey Davis, Nationally Registered/Certified Medical Assistant. Since then, I have started by gradual transition out of the scribe role and into the MA role within my company. I know work closely with our Nurse Practitioner, focusing on wound care and grafting. Currently, I am living in Gilbert, Arizona. However, I am open to move back home to the Grand Junction or Glenwood Springs areas of Colorado within the next year.
