We are an environmental organization that offers resources and education to increase awareness of alternatives to the traditional waste stream. We seek to divert waste from the landfill through increased recycling and composting, transitioning from disposable items to reusable alternatives, and broader participation in the secondhand market. We highlight helpful resources and local businesses, host workshops and events, and work to build a supportive, inclusive community that encourages Chicago to transition to zero waste.

The 1000 Jobs for Chicagoland campaign was developed and is led by Chicagoland manufacturers with the goal of raising awareness of career opportunities in manufacturing, increasing the capacity of the workforce development system, and improving coordination to ensure employers are able to efficiently and effectively access workforce support.- Managed team of 7 Account Executives in the successful implementation of 1000 Jobs program ensuring adherence to objectives, timelines, and quality standards- Analyzed program and industry data to track KPIs and provide recommendations for strategic adjustments to optimize program outcomes such as identifying untapped recruitment opportunities- Collaborated with industry partners, associations, and training providers to develop long-term regional workforce development strategy- Assist with the management of SalesForce database to ensure efficient candidate placement process and data reporting
