I served over 1,700 hours within 10 months in a high-poverty urban school in Boston, MA. I worked on a team of 14 AmeriCorps members to provide whole school support to 800 students. Additionally, I provided over 225 hours in one-on-one academic tutoring, attendance data tracking, and socio-emotional coaching to at-risk students in need of extra support.As my team’s Learning & Development Coordinator, I created opportunities and resources for my team to continue their professional development and social justice learning throughout their service. Additionally, I worked on the L&D planning committee to create the mid-year training for 265 AmeriCorps members.
