I am part of a grand mission to empower and educate 30 million families by the year 2030 to become their own money managers through financial education and professional guidance.My professional experience prior to joining the National Financial Literacy Campaign is as a Social Worker for the Florida Department of Children & Families and CareerSource Palm Beach County. I have witnessed and experienced first-hand the struggles of the working class. It was a challenging and fulfilling career; however, I decided to change pace and work as an Administrative Assistant for a manufacturing company. I loved my new position, my supervisors, my co-workers,… everything about it! Yet, the burning desire to help my community never left my soul and I felt the need to resign and pursue this career in the financial industry full-time. I am blessed to have found my life's mission in time for me to fulfill it to the best of my ability! And best of all, I am blessed to have been introduced to the National Financial Literacy Campaign, whose mission and values align with my own! We provide financial literacy workshops along with the corresponding materials, FREE OF CHARGE. Why? Because Financial Education isn't an option. It's a necessity.We take the workshops to schools, libraries, non-profit and for-profit organizations, religious organizations, government agencies, homes, online, and anywhere in the U.S. where people need us.
