Initially known as TDX Systems where I sold equal access FGD (Feature Group D) and dial-up FGB (Feature Group B) long-distance telephone services in greater Boston and then transferred to DC/Baltimore as a Major Accounts Manager. Sold to Government and private sector businesses.What a blast this job was! Putting in auto-dialers to bypass the LEC (Local Exchange Carrier) and ATT! Back then long distance rates were based on distance sensitive pricing bands. We also introduced competitive toll free. We sold data analog private lines that could hit a whopping 19.2 Kbps! Helping customers who were getting ripped off with BOC (Bell Operating Company) billing and unscrupulous operator services companies.....These were building blocks for an industry as we have it today - we have come a long way!
