I am thrilled to be working for the Everett Museum of History full time now as we begin the process of establishing a permanent home for our collection. Curators are working to catalog and preserve the artifacts we will soon share with the community at Colby and Wall in Everett. We are grateful to the staff, board and volunteers who have worked diligently to bring this goal to fruition and Build a Future for Our Past.

I am very proud of having worked to support Camp Fire's curriculum based programs which educate and support children and families in our community. The main activities are After-School Clubs, Day and Resident Camping, including Grief camps and Inclusion camps, all of which build self-esteem, self-reliance, teach nutrition, health and safety. A very important part of the curriculum is "Step It Up 2 Thrive" (see website of same name) which helps the children set goals, develop strategies, reflect on the outcomes and adjust their plans accordingly. They operate in small groups and are mentored by well trained and caring adults. The result is that children learn to make good choices for healthy lifestyles and develop good lifelong habits. Camp Fire provides opportunities for kids to find their spark, lift their voice and discover who they are--"Light the fire within"

Management of collaborative facilities and resources connected with Little Red School House, Inc..

Provides education and specialized therapy services to children at risk for developmental delay, age birth to 5, and parent support. This is a collaborative effort working with pre-schools, school districts and homeless programs. Development, fund-raising and construction of Lynnwood facilities and the Children's Village facilities in Everett.
