At fifty-nine years old, my journey finally takes me to my childhood dreams! After achieving my BS in Paralegal studies, I found an online institution who allows me to go forward with my dreams and studies online to sit for the Bar. I am thoroughly committed to this.When I was about six years old I worshiped Hamilton Burger, the prosecuter of all Perry Mason's cases. Just once, I wanted to see the scales balanced. I still believe in those scales. However I do believe the fingers that touch those scales might not be equal and blind. Fast forward, I see me in immigration law, pulling my hair out and attempting to hold my temper, so I have to wear linen. I sweat profusely.At sisxty-one what a change! Congestive heart failure and everyday gives a chance for a a goal of simply living. Law school is still a dream. Just ain't happening right now. Not too much is really. Absolutely grateful for every breath and ability to be mobile albeit quite limitted. As Gloria Gaynor sang, "I Will Survive!"
