Perforce Software acquired Rogue Wave Software February 2019.Added API and UI validations to protect application from XSS, CSRF and Server Side Request Forgery attacks. Scrum leader for team of 15. Managed sprint tasks and software release requirements.

Rogue Wave Software acquired Akana in November 2016.UI development using JQuery and CanJs framework for Akana's API Management suite.Created REST APIs to feed and update data to UI windows for API governance application, including creating spring definitions, generating JAXB models and writing DAOs. Wrote several new windows using JQuery, Javascript, CSS and HTML templates, following best practices using semantic HTML and Rich Internet Application standards.

Formerly SOA SoftwareMaintained updates and bug fixes to existing software and completed new development for a web services based application. Created new windows to process REST operations and HTTP security policies. Front end framework involves a wide variety of technologies, including Jakarta Struts, JavaServer Faces, Java Portlets and Ext-JS. Business logic and validation are done using custom tags, JavaScript and Java classes. All work is done using Eclipse IDE, SVN for versioning and Ant for builds.

Programmed Java classes and PL/SQL stored procedures used to implement application business rules. Mentored junior team members to help them learn and understand technologies used in the application. Designed and wrote half of the application screens, working closely with product management to ensure requirements were met. Pages required extensive JavaScript programming for validation, window management and update capabilities. Used CSS and XSL to transform XML/RDF results sets and create DHTML pages sent to the browser. Application was successfully deployed to over 3,000 users. Led a team to internationalize product, including updating java rules and managing database changes.Quickly became a team expert with homegrown page building tool that abstracted HTML using metadata. Modified page building tool, using XSL and JavaScript, to create several shared widgets and improve on-line validation. Programmed Python scripts that managed security when passing data between remote databases. Maintained LDAP-based security using Python scripts and LDAP browser.

Project lead for the Order Management online processing system. Managed developers and performed impact analysis for all enhancement requests. Installed new releases and distributed to 15 production servers. All database access is done using DB2 stored procedures. Acted as project DBA while creating Account Management System. Updated security rules and completed design functionality using Lotus Notes.Developed new applications to better manage Mattel's branding strategy, using PowerBuilder's PFC. Coordinated and planned user meetings and developed test plans. Created, monitored and updated project plan using MS Project. Executed and verified all end-to-end testing.Created new ad-hoc reports using Cognos' Impromptu software to facilitate major conversion of Fisher-Price data into Mattel's formatting specifications.

Customized vendor built PowerBuilder Executive Information System (BSR Advance). Considered team SQL expert. Created complex reports required for upper management. Analyzed and converted mainframe DB2 database to new Sybase database format, on a UNIX platform. All database development was done on UNIX.
