Tokio Marine HCC had commenced a large transformation Programme to enhance and replace their Policy Administration Systems (PAS) across a number of specialist lines of business. Engaged initially to build and lead a task force to manage the delivery of significant defect resolution and functionality enhancements to a recently replaced PAS in the Trade Credit division – this project completed delivering a robust system and operating model to support business development. I then transferred to the Surety division and created a project to source a new PAS to support this niche market – end to end project management including RFP process, contract development and onboarding of both project and external vendor development teams. Successfully delivered the MVP for the new PAS, including integration to replacement systems for sub-ledger and claims and supported transition to a continuous improvement model for future functionality improvements.

Dividends generated for 2017 totalled £240M and the delivery of the Internal Model application and internal reinsurance secured the projected dividends of £250M in 2018. Initial review of IFRS17 project requirements.
