Provide subject matter expertise and insight to critical infrastructure partners about attack trends and defenses by developing and maintaining deep awareness and understanding of evolving threats, adversaries, and intrusion trends.Collaborate with SOC team to proactively hunt external threats and monitor partners’ networks. Help SOC team detect new, interesting, or unique threats and mitigations based on hunting observations. Develop and deliver threat briefings, reports, and presentations to partners and executive leadership by providing actionable intelligence for statewide distribution. Research ongoing geopolitical and cybersecurity trends, patterns, and risks.Assist in INFOSEC training best practices and mitigation skills. Research and perform analysis from all sources (surface, deep, and dark) to find anomalous activities and their nexus to state-based entities. Perform post-incident analysis for intelligence enrichment and information sharing.
