As an experienced leader in social impact and philanthropy, I have a passion for creating meaningful change in the world. In my current role as Director of Investments and Partnerships at InvestED, I develop strategic partnerships with local and international corporations, establish and track development goals, and work with board members to mine their contacts for support and contributions. I also served as Interim Executive Director at the Executive Development Institute (EDI), where I identified potential sources of investment, established partnerships with national Asian American Pacific Islander organizations, and maintained alumni engagement.My previous role as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Diversity Equity and Inclusion at Seattle Credit Union allowed me to lead the development and execution of the credit union's partnership strategy while conceptualizing and managing bespoke financial inclusion efforts for immigrant communities. Additionally, I spearheaded the development and deployment of interest-free lending products and administered over $2 million in federal grants.With a Master degrees in Finance and Public Administration and Management, I have the skills and qualifications to inspire and develop a team of motivated individuals and promote strategies to gain support from businesses. My ability to create clear and compelling narratives and connect our purpose and values to social impact work has been integral to my success in building a vast and varied network of nonprofits, public/private corporations, government agencies, and elected officials.My experience and passion for issues related to STEAM, STEM, sustainability/ESG, and inclusion/DEI have helped me earn recognition as a Boeing Diversity Award Winner, Leadership Eastside Graduate, and Chase National Community Development Competition Presenter/Winner. I hold a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certificate from Cornell University and am a Woodrow Wilson National Institute in Public Policy Fellow and a George L. Crowell Institute in International Affairs alumnus.
