What I do nowI'm an independent music consultant currently covering the role of Music Supervisor at Dolce&Gabbana, in addition to advising for any kind of entity, music and music use: adv, branded contents, movies, TV series, short movies, videos for social networks, video games, etc. During my career, I managed +1000 synchronization licenses for existing and original repertoires. My job historyIn my previous role as Content Rights Manager at Dolce&Gabbana, I optimized and managed rights entitled to related copyrights owners, professionals and partners involved in the creation process of all global and local communication contents of the Brand: music (existing and original), images, videos, talents, directors, photographers,, models etc. working closely with communication, social, event, creative, production and legal departments. In my 16+ years of experience in the music business, I worked as Licensing manager at Universal Music Publishing, where I managed songs (publishing and master rights) for all kinds of branded synchronization projects in the B2B market. Before joining Universal, I worked for Sony Music Publishing and Emi Music Publishing, where I had the opportunity to manage, among other iconic publishing repertoires, also some of the greatest Production Music catalogues. Among all, Extreme Music, that I was lucky enough to manage from the very beginning bringing it to life in the Italian market.I have also worked closely with great authors, writers and musicians by managing the production and the artistic direction of original music compositions.Life as an activistIn 2010 I watched the documentary “Il Corpo Delle Donne” by Lorella Zanardo. I immediately recognised what I had probably known forever without being fully aware of it: society was treating women and men differently only based on their genders. Since then, I started a slow and incessant study of gender equality, until in 2018 I joined She Said So, a global community of women, gender nonconforming people and allies in the music industry. I was also part of STEAMiamoci,a project promoted by Assolombarda based on the awareness that gender diversity is a basic element of social growth and it is fundamental for the productivity, competitiveness and innovation of the business world. In 2021 I co-founded EQUALY, the first Italian organization focusing specifically on gender equality within the music industry (www.equaly.it)
