Responsible for overall planning, direction and administration of all regional office activities, including program delivery, fundraising, leadership development, communications, government relations, fact-finding/research and office management in order to advance ADL’s mission; for representing ADL in the community, to the media, and to public officials, and for managing, motivating and developing regional staff.Accomplishments include:Personally counseled former members of hate groups, including Frank Meeink, author of 'Autobiography of a Recovering Skinhead', and Tom Martinez, author of 'Brotherhood of Murder', both of whom speak out publicly against such groups.Advised hospital about short and long term interventions following highly controversial and publicized act of blatant discrimination and callousness by hospital employee.Collaborated with a public relations agency and SEPTA to launch a regional anti-prejudice advertising campaign. The campaign’s message reached hundreds of thousands of SEPTA commuters.Organized “Harmony Through Hockey,” a youth diversity and life skills training program, with a former neo-Nazi skinhead as a partnership of the Philadelphia Department of Recreation, The Philadelphia Flyers and the ADL. The program served as the prototype for the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation.
