FS-ISAC (https://www.fsisac.com) is a Financial Services Information Services and Analysis Sharing Center based in the Reston, Va. area. FS-ISAC is a non-profit corporation established in 1999 and is funded by its member firms. As a member-driven organization, the mission is to help assure the resilience and continuity of the global financial services infrastructure and individual firms which could significantly impact the sector’s ability to provide services critical to the orderly function of the global economy. The FS-ISAC shares threat & vulnerability information conducts coordinated contingency planning exercises, manages rapid response communications for both cyber and physical events, conducts education and training programs, and fosters collaborations with and among other key sectors and government agencies. FS-ISAC has several Regional Coalitions of member firms. As Deputy Director of the FS-ISAC Regional Workgroup. The Regional Workgroup provides companies, which are mostly from the financial sector, a collaborative forum to assist them in addressing private sector resilience and emergency management planning and response with relevant local, regional, and national public sector agencies covering New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire. Our goal is to create trusted partnerships and communications between members and the region’s public sector agencies which strengthen our community resilience efforts.Additionally, provide situational awareness, working groups, exercises, and roundtable discussions for members to explore best practices; to test their Cyber, Business Resilience and Physical Security Emergency Response plans; and effectively align and integrate their preparedness and crisis response with those of the public sector.
