Working with the Welsh Assembly Government, I am responsible for the delivery of the largest super-fast ICT broadband programme in Europe that has the aim of deploying fibre connectivity across all homes and business in Wales by 2020. Reporting to Programme Board and at ministerial level, I am responsible for managing six Project Managers each with a team of approximately 10 personnel (technical, marketing, change and legal teams), that re responsible for leading procurement and implementation, mobile networks, marketing and communication projects. He was responsible for the development of Edinburgh Council’s mobile and flexible working strategy 2008 – 2014. He has worked with internal departments to develop and project manage mobile and flexible working projects, and been Technical consultant (wireless technologies) on the Edinburgh – Glasgow partnership, which recently commissioned a feasibility study on the viability of deploying of a wireless solution on the Edinburgh – Glasgow rail link.
