TashiCell (Bhutan) NPM Project

Project: Robi- GSM Automatic Shared Carrier (GASC), SW Efficiency Service package (SESP), Red Sea (TDD Rollout), 3G Sunset, CellRebel Data Based Pixel Analysis.Responsibilities: Escalated Zero traffic/CSSR, down & poor availability issue of 2G/LTE cells to RAN team after activities. Identified 2G/LTE broken cells and take primary initiative for improvement. Checked parameter inconsistency after execution of several features and raised to integration team to clear. Proposed RET for newly TDD sectors rolled out in Dhaka, Comilla and Noakhali Zone.  Validated existing RET, Manual Tilt, Height & Azimuth with the help of given field data from implementation team.  Provided current Height/Azimuth/Tilt information to customer for RSS update.  Co-ordinated team for drive test and coverage verification report of 500 optimization TDD sites in Gazipur and Cox's Bazar. Supported for QGIS/MapInfo related task for several feature/parameter trials. Identified bad patches of MOS with respect to Rx Qual, Rx Level, Codec Rate, Channel Type, C/I.  Performed RCA of WCL for 3G shutdown site and proposed solution to resolve. Analyzed CellRebel data for some problematic locations in 5 districts where Competitor Strong ROBI weak and recommended New Sites/ Cell Addition/Physical Parameter validation accordingly.

Project: Ericsson-Robi BSC Modernization (Falcon Project)/RNC RehomingResponsibilities: Support for Re-parenting around 1200 sites from 16 BSCs to new 6 BSCs and 350 sites into new RNCs. Prepare cluster sequence plan for Re-parenting BTS/NodeB. Provide CDD for the rehoming sites. Generate parameter consistency checking report for rectification after rehoming. Monitor major KPIs of the rehomed cells and take action for any KPI degradation. Co-ordinate DT team to perform call/HO/data test in the rehomed sites.

Project: Huawei-Grameenphone Blue Moon Project (3G NodeB RNP/RNO)Responsibilities: Lead 3G DT-Team, manage FAC/BM Drive Test activities & Optimization of several clusters to meet the SLA KPIs. Post processing /Analysis of DT log & provide physical tuning plan for improving RSCP/EcIo & Pilot Pollution. Analyze pre & post performance of RSCP/EcIo & PP after physical tuning. Prepare FAC DT report with justifications for the cluster that meet the KPI target. Joining regular FAC meeting/discussions with vendor at customer premises.

Project: Ericsson-Robi 3.5G ProjectResponsibilities: SSV report preparation as required. Provide justifications for any KPI (RSCP, EcNo, Throughput- R'99 & HSDPA, and CQI) degradation during SSV. Provide explanations for any dynamic/stationary functionality check issues (CS/PS- IRAT HO, Ping).

Project: Huawei-Grameenphone Blue Moon Project (3G NodeB RNP/RNO)Responsibilities: Perform 3G Network Optimization at cellular level in order to contribute to regional quality of service by investigating network performance (based on analysis of drive tests results, client’s complaints, and performance indicator). Issuing, discussing and/or implementing optimization recommendations (optimization of cell parameters) for network improvement. Prepare and monitoring 3G KPI by means of RRC accessibility success rates, CS/PS/CS64 call setup success rate, HSDPA/HSUPA RAB setup success ratio, CS/PS/CS64 drop call rate, HSDPA/HSUPA service drop ratio, HOSR (soft/softer/hard/IRAT), RRC/CS/PS congestion, R99/HSDPA/HSUPA data volume. Perform parameter inconsistency checking for the newly integrated NodeB before on air.  Intra/Inter frequency and IRAT Neighbor planning for 3G sites. Perform daily cell troubleshooting and take adequate actions to solve issues (Worse Cell Listing). Prepare report for CE utilization for all RNCs and provide recommendation for CE distribution.

Project: Huawei-Teletalk NSN sites swapResponsibilities: BSC Optimization of 85 sites (Single, Multiband and Dual band Network) to meet the required service level agreement (SLA). Analysis of Rx Level, Rx Quality and Interference in problematic areas and delivering network optimization recommendations based on drive test analysis. Checking major KPIs such as TCH traffic, CSSR, TCH/SD call drop rate, Intra/Inter HOSR, TCH/SD congestion, TBF drop rate, UL/DL throughput and optimize network through BSS parameter tuning. Alarm monitoring & TRX testing of swap sites (checking for high VSWR, weaker uplink/downlink, low TASR/HOSR and weak main-div level).

Project: Smart ModernizationResponsibilities: Support for NSN to Huawei 2.5G swap project and optimization activities of 77 sites. Monitor Major KPIs such as TCH/SDCCH traffic, HOFR, CDR (TCH/SDCCH), FER (UL/DL), RACH rejection, CS/TCH priority success rate, SDCCH blocking rate. Check and correct cell parameter inconsistencies.  Push BSS for clearing of alarms such as RF unit maintenance link failure, E1/T1 loss of signal, RX channel failure and other service effecting alarms. Neighbor clean-up such as immediate neighbor audit, cell direction audit, cell missing neighbor audit, HO algorithm and related parameter audit- PBGT,BQ, etc. Check and clear interference by BCCH tuning & MAIO/HSN tuning. Allocate TRX/channel by TCH Vs SDCCH reconfiguration based on utilization and AMR/Non-AMR related parameters to reduce congestion. Balance traffic by CRO, CRH, PI, Inter-layer/Edge HO threshold tuning.

Project: Huawei-GP Ericsson sites swapResponsibilities: Optimization of the assigned clusters of 120 sites to meet the required service level agreement (SLA) Collect E// BSC dump & site list with existing MSC/BSC/LAC information and prepare GSM TRX configuration plan for several cluster swap. Cluster/LAC border planning with the help of nominal BSC-TRXs capacity plan. Check all basic cell parameter data, TMA activation, Inter-cell HO relation, hopping configuration, GPRS/EDGE enable, cluster/cell level performance & TRX health during cluster swap night. Collect pre-swap benchmark KPI data for cluster and cell level. Prepare routine KPI reports for cell/cluster level and monitor overall KPIs. Generate WCL based on major KPI issues. Escalate faulty TRX issues for rectification with the help of KPIs/Alarms. Based on daily WCL, prepare WR to improve cell/cluster level KPI. For any cell/cluster level KPI degradation, prepare clarifications after detailed root cause analysis and network performance issues. Monitor KPIs performance after WR execution and prepare parameter implementation impact report if needed. Prepare CAC/FAC report after meeting cell/cluster level target KPI value.

Project: Huawei-GP Ericsson sites swap, Phase-4Responsibilities: Provide audit report for BSS parameter/frequency/neighbor and proposal for frequency change and neighbor addition/deletion. Provide recommendation after detailed root cause analysis of network performance issues. Prepare comparison report after implementation of parameters.

Project: Huawei-OTB-67 NSN sites swapResponsibilities: Optimization of the assigned clusters of 67 sites to meet the required service level agreement (SLA). Support GSM 900/1800 dual-band network optimization activities. Planned parameter (HO, power control, frequency, etc) audit & changing. Neighbor audit and BCCH/TCH frequency planning using GENEX Nastar tool. Monitor and analyze BSC statistics for improving major KPIs (CDR, CSSR, HOSR, TAFR, SDDR, etc) to meet the benchmark value.

Project: Huawei-OTB-279 Ericsson sites swap, Huawei-OTB-311 sites swapResponsibilities: Carrying out daily KPI monitoring of network performance of 600 sites acceptance after BSS swapped from Ericsson to Huawei equipment. Generate KPI statistics using iManager2000 tool and perform daily/weekly report based on some major KPIs such as SD drop rate, Call drop rate, HOSR, TBF drop rate, etc for acceptance swap cluster project. Identify top worst performing cells and transfer this cell list to Sr. RNO engineer to take corrective actions to meet the benchmark value.

Project: Ericsson-Warid Telecom Drive TestResponsibilities: Perform single site and cluster drive test using TEMS Investigation Data Collection to check feeder swap, coverage and quality. Analyze DT log files with TEMS Investigation Route Analysis to identify the problem in downlink network performance (e.g. RxLev, RxQual, SQI, Call drop, etc). Prepare report based on some major KPIs such as RxLev, RxQual, SQI, HOSR, CDR, and CSSR for both single site and cluster.

Project: Ericsson-Aktel RBS InstallationResponsibilities: Supervise team for RBS/BBS (Ericsson), MW (Ericssin/ Siemens/ Alcatel) & GSM antenna (Kathrein) installation.

Responsibilities: Preventive maintenance of BTS, MW (ODU & IDU) and PCM interconnections. New BTS site survey, drive test with TEMS-7.0/Agilent-8 and log file analysis using MAPINFO. Collecting radio network traffic report and BTS site nominal planning using TornadoN.
