As a teacher for the last 24 years at Valencia Elementary School, I have developed a diverse and adaptable set of skills. I have polished both my technology skills and ability to provide professional learning and coaching to the staff as my school's technology lead. I have constantly been growing and adapting as as new information and programs become relevant and my students' academic and socio-emotional needs change. Serving as my school’s academic lead in math helped me mentor my peers. Organization and time-management abilities have helped me develop and implement new curriculums and planning for grade-level events. Teaching multiple grade levels allowed me to see how essential learnings are built upon from one year to the next.
