Tech Lead 07/2017 – 06/2018Architected an asset management system and leading a team to deliver on the design. The system was designed to be operating system independent, easy to deploy, secure, and was selected to be one of the first applications in the company to target a proprietary storage model that would make it easy to share and consume data with future applications. He led a group of four other developers in successfully delivering the product by the targeted deadline. Developed a coding style guide and template used for all new web projects; This template included tools that automatically document dependencies, APIs, and UI components Introduced an authentication component that uses IdentityServer for OAUTH authentication. This component is now in consideration of being used company wide. Application delivered as a series of Docker containers for easy installationDeveloper 03/2013 – 07/2017Added to a Windows desktop project that needed assistance to hit key deadlines. The application was designed to be able to recommend preventative measures a plant can take based on a number of key measurements. He took on the majority of the work related to measurements about the security of the plant. After the project met the deadline he oversaw the maintenance of the security portion of the application. He was also involved in a number of additional areas of measurement introduced to the product such as reading and analyzing signal measurements from different machinery that supported various lines of business; such as paper, gas & oil refining, mining, and steel profiling. Through his feedback and recommendations, he had an active role in shaping the technology road map of new products at the client. C# 3-tier templateCreated a Visual Studio 2010 template for C# that has the basic structure for all new applications for our department. Has a fairly complete 3-tier application that implements all department standard security and logging. The template was designed to be extensible and came with a custom wizard.Online ServicesCreated an online portal that allows Ohio drivers to view their driving information and ties into many of our internal applications.

Notification SystemCreated an emergency notification system that is used to contact many state employees across Ohio.FTP SystemCreated a windows service that would monitor an FTP directory for specifically formatted files, and would kick off a number of different batch processes depending on the format of the file. A user interface was also available so that files could be tracked as they went through the different processes.
