IBCLC | Mom | Postpartum/Birth advocateI have been an IBCLC since January 2021 and have been in the lactation and postpartum spaces since 2015. I am passionate about evidence based information as well as education. It’s most important to me to help families make informed decisions. I started in the healthcare field in 2010 learning claims processing and insurance from the ground up. I learned the ins and outs of insurance until I switched gears and became an administrative assistant in 2016. Being a working parent, I learned how much we are lacking in postpartum support and support for families in general. I often times wear many hats so I would like to add Childbirth Educator and Postpartum Doula to my certifications in the future. Until then, I will advocate, support, and educate in these spaces that mean so much to me.
