- Co-led on the development of a new sector wide apprenticeship standard for fundraisers and the fundraising apprenticeship strategy at Cancer Research UK- Produced a popular fundraising podcast series for fundraising staff- Led on the full learning cycle for sales, Leadership and cultural development within the Volunteer Fundraising Department- 121 coaching and group facilitation- Designed, implemented and embedded new cultural programme - Designed new induction journey for the department- Recruited an L&D champion network across all teams in Volunteer Fundraising for continuous learning needs analysis and to embed learning across teams- Due to my experience of being in front line fundraising and leadership roles over 10 years at CRUK, I always ensure all L&D interventions I design are aligned to meet the needs of the business and make an impact

- Managed a team of Area Volunteer Managers covering the North of England- Regional strategic planning, including restructuring the region, business case for extra head count to deliver growth, performance management and recruitment of new and dynamic staff. This work resulted in an average of 16% growth in income year on year- Set ambitious targets and managed expenditure budgets- Managed high value supporter relationships, offering bespoke supporter journeys and influencing long term commitment and growth in income

- Managed Regional Managers in Volunteer Fundraising, with a collective income target of £8 million- Responsible for strategic planning and income target for the largest income stream in the department

- Managed a portfolio of 40 Race for Life, Run 10k and test events in London, responsible for £10 million of income- Line Managed a team of Area and Regional Event Managers- Project Managed key pieces of work across the national team, devising project plans and gaining the buy in of various stakeholders - Won an internal ‘People’s Choice’ award for ambition and aiming high- Volunteered to coach and facilitate workshops, Action Learning sets and 121 coaching with the L&D department aside to role

- Organised and delivered over 30 Race for Life events in Essex and London, consistently exceeding participation and fundraising targets, raising over £5 million for CRUK- The events included the flagship events in Battersea Park and Hyde Park, which involved stakeholders management at various levels of CRUK and Tesco, celebrity management, case studies, media and complicated logistical challenges and trials. I organised and delivered the first high profile Hyde Park event for 20,000 participants and recruited and led over 100 volunteers
