Continuing my role at Academy headquarters, but now as a contractor, employed by Quad Graphics. Quad has many valuable resources to support our production team at Academy. I continue to grow my skills producing the weekly circular, as well as emails and other various design projects.

As part of Academy Sports + Outdoors' print production team, I help produce Academy, highly visible weekly ad. Our goal is to make sure each ad is accurate and comprehensive, to ensure it reflects Academy's brand, and to push our visual designs to compete with top competitors. We use InDesign heavily, while using Photoshop and Illustrator occasionally.

I began working as a kennel worker at Fireplug Bed & Bath, a local pet boarding and grooming business, while I attended college, and stayed for nearly 9 years. I loved working with dogs, and became close to the owners. They relied on me to keep the younger workers on task, and take charge anytime they were away. I still run the shops' Facebook page, and.

I have done many projects for a local church, a popular music band, and for other aquaintences.

I participated in the Walt Disney Word College Program for the Spring 2005 semester. I worked as a costumer at Disney's MGM Studios (now called Disney's Hollywood Studios) where I prepared costumes, dressed characters, as well as performers during shows. I loved it!
