Kansas City Hauntings: History and Mysteries of the Paris of the Plains

I am responsible for working at the circulation desk and using an online system to check books, periodicals, and other items in and out. Additionally, I serve as a Branch Social Media Liaison, Consumer Technology Liaison, and member of the Exceptionality Team.

"Ghosts a Go-Go with Becky Ray" is a show that features paranormal storytelling, performances, and occasional podcasts.

Over the years, I have officiated many weddings. However, since July 2013, I only perform marriages for close friends and family.

Temporary position filling in for regular receptionist during medical leave. Duties include answering and directing calls, relaying messages, providing information to callers and additionally, greeting visitors, monitoring access, and maintaining security awareness.

Becky Ray and Laura Moon started broadcasting a radio program via the internet in 2006. Their aim was to provide new insights to the educated listener. Initially, they focused on paranormal topics and interviewed guests from the supernatural world. However, with the sudden rise of paranormal shows, they shifted their focus to Horror Shows, where they interviewed directors, actors, musicians, and authors. Later on, they felt the need to share their views on a broader scale, which led them to include Weird News in their show's topics. Since then, they have shared bizarre, strange, creepy, and dull-witted stories with people who want to hear more about the world beyond politics and reality TV. Their stories cover everything from funny animals, intensely dense criminals, international inventions, fun facts, and strange sightings.

Maintained a customer database, verifying and updating customer and account information.

The Kansas City Society of Burlesque is the leading traditional burlesque troupe in Kansas City. They pay tribute to the rich, comical history of classic burlesque by fusing comedy, glamour, and innovative performance art to create captivating performances that entertain and exhilarate their audience. In Pitch Magazine's Best of Kansas City Readers' Choice 2011, they were voted the second-best performing arts group.

Responsibilities include researching small claims cases at local courthouses for television productions like "Texas Justice."

Oversees the management of company benefits and other programs essential to the growth and progress of employees. Assists with the process of onboarding new employees. This involves organizing orientations and making sure all the necessary documentation is completed. Manage the process of preparing and communicating employee terminations. Administer employee benefits, including AFLAC, life, medical, dental, and vision insurance. Also, track and report employee leave, such as FMLA and short-term/long-term disability. Mediate employee conflicts as necessary. Managing Editor of the employee newsletter, “Constructively Speaking.” Ensure that the Employee Handbook is appropriately maintained, which includes updating policies, forms, and other relevant information. Ensure that Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reports are prepared, filed, and updated.

Manage and organize office activities, including bookkeeping, personnel management, information system, filing, and clerical services. Research and develop resources that create a timely and efficient workflow. Establish consistent procedures and style guidelines for correspondence and records management. Review personnel records for accuracy and completeness and coordinate customer service call dispatch and record-keeping. Maintain regular communication with customers and external vendors. Serve as a liaison between employees and the management team.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of loss prevention and customer service. Prepare work schedules, assign duties, and direct merchandise displays. Supervise employees in sales work and inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, and prepare daily records of transactions. Order merchandise and prepare requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand. Ensure compliance of employees with established security, sales, and record-keeping procedures and practices. Answer customer complaints and inquiries. Carry out supervisory responsibilities per the Company's policies. Personnel responsibilities involve interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

On weekdays, I host a mid-day CHR show. On Thursdays from 8:30 pm to midnight, I host a late-night Hard Rock show. On Saturdays from 6:00 am to noon, I host an "oldies" show. Area weather tracking and reporting, local news writing and reporting, board operating for sports broadcasts and network programming, music selection for airplay, writing, producing, and providing voice-overs for commercial sponsors.
