Responsible for a 122-member, $120 million / year business unit, providing mail processing solutions to the US Postal Service and private industry. Successfully transitioned the business unit from provider of products into a provider of systems, solutions and services. Responsible for patenting, developing, proposing and booking the Postal Automated Redirection System (PARS) for the US Postal Service, with a total program value in excess of $1.2 billion. Successfully proposed, negotiated and booked multiple multi-year incentive based programs with the US Postal Service utilizing pay for performance contracting. EBIT for Siemens on some of these programs exceeded 40%. Actively pursued new business by correlating customer needs with our core competencies and initiating development activities to assure successful execution of programs. Identified and implemented a strategy resulting in over $1.8 billion in sole source postal automation business over ten years. Initiated new business development programs to expand the company’s offerings to additional markets including Canada Post.
