To whom it may concern:As you may see from my resume in my bio page, I worked with my senior design team to outline, plan, develop and present our non-patented consumer grade Smart Pool Water Maintenance System (SPWMS) as an IoT prototype. Given most consumers limited knowledge on pool maintenance, our concept was to provide a solution to monitor an average pool (roughly 13,500 gallons) with a IoT device inside a weatherproof housing mounted to the pond skimmer. Using four analog sensors (ORP, Temperature, pH, and Level) to gather data related to status of the pool, this information is transmitted via Raspberry Pi connected to a 3rd party Home Assistant server which notifies the consumer’s phone if there’s a change in the pool safety standards. I am familiar with C++ coding language, simulation software such as ADS and MATLAB as well as an array of similar engineering tools. I pride myself in my communications skills and am well versed in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).In addition to my college requirements, I’ve received accolades from peers and managers for my commitment to delivering results at work. As example, while carrying a full-time course load at UNT, I worked in excess of 20 hours weekly (OfficeMax) as an IT technical lead to help offset college costs. Though difficult at times, it taught me to adapt and balance my work and school effectively to assure excellent results in my engineering program as well as on behalf of my employer and the consumer. These are just an example of experiences which have provided me with the skills necessary to be an effective team member while at the same time enhancing my ability as a future leader.
