I worked in the South East and South London Academies Regional Delivery Directorate responsible for supporting the Regional Schools Commissioner to ensure every child receives high quality education. I worked closely with Local Authorities, Schools, Trusts and Sponsors to understand local issues specifically in the South East London Local Authorities.My day to day role entails me to:Supporting team leader to work with potential academy sponsorsSupporting schools through the process of becoming an academyMonitoring the performance of open academies. Engaging proactively and constructively with a wide range of high profile internal and external stakeholders, including legal, educational and financial experts, local authorities, schools and large academy sponsors. Supporting the team with day-to-day reporting of information, responding to key commissions and providing accurate information for correspondence and Ministerial commissions. Working with teams to analyse data and trends to help contribute to the successful monitoring of the academies programme.While doing the above I also lead on multiple projects at a time where I must coordinate with several stakeholders (including solicitors) at a time to ensure each project is delivered to above the expected standard and on time.
