In my current role, I represent Ash Air as an external Sales engineer/representative in the sale and installation of compressed air, vacuum equipment, and pneumatic technologies. Consult with clients on their compressed air needs and liaise with them to build executable solutions. I'm a friendly approachable relationship builder with a solution-plus approach to selling and promoting products and services in a service-plus business model. Previous roles include internal sales for HCD Flow Technology (Motion Industries) in which I represented the business with the highest level of customer care and service. A business specializing in the industrial field of hose, pumps pipe fittings and couplings catering to a wide trade and engineering market audience this role required an agile mindset to build solutions quickly and effectively. A few years of staff shortages required flexibility to be a jack of all trades across the business and the ability to pivot quickly wearing many hats. Highlights in this role I can claim naming a national product.I have a strong personal interest and attachment to the construction trades as I started my construction journey backward. As a painter and decorator learning to finish buildings in my early 20s, I learned to hone my craft and appreciate attention to detail. Painting for me as a trade represented more than the trade as it teaches the lesson of process and procedure. Diligent attention to application results in a long-lasting and quality finish. These lessons intrinsically translate to multiple applications. My journey took me through self-employment and self-management. Interests changed and I found myself leading by example a team for a well-known hardware store where my product knowledge breadth and depth developed, and my interpersonal skills enabled me to guide trades-people and D.I.Yers alike through their projects. I became one of the highest-regarded employees for customer service at this time. My Adventures through construction continue through woodworking, joinery, and residential renovation hobbies that take up my current free time.I'm at an age where I could benefit from more role models but acknowledge good ones can be few and far between so should lead myself as one to others.I would like to see myself as someone who self-develops, educates, and leads others through encouragement.
